If chance has ever played a leading role, this is surely a candidate for an award. Lorenzo Sánchez and I have known each other for a long time. We have shared joys, sorrows, and doubts, always with the utmost mutual respect. But we are separated by many miles, so our relationship has been through WhatsApp, cell phones, email, etc. However, we had never met at any event. That's why we didn't know each other in person.
At the end of July this year, he took advantage of his vacation time to visit Barcelona and greet friends and business associates. I am somewhere between the two.
Accompanied by his wife, they visited my home and my listening room. And in it was this reference music system that you can see here. The main component was the Engström Arne MKII amplifier, the subject of the previous review. We listened to some music on request, and when the demonstration was over, he said to me, "You have to try the new Osiris Signature series with this equipment." Lorenzo doesn't carry business cards; he carries cables. He left me two. And on the appointed date, after my summer vacation, he left me the rest. We are talking about the following list of cables from Wires 4 Music, of which he is the founder and partner.

Osiris Signature Series
Among the technical characteristics found in the different cables used, I would highlight the following regarding the range in general (taken from the official website, press release and direct consultation with the manufacturer).
In the manufacture of the Osiris Signature range, we are committed to using very high purity, large gauge monocrystalline copper and silver, as well as the best dielectrics available and effective protection against EMI and RFI radiation. Furutech connectors and Techflex outer sleeves provide elegance, durability, and manageability.
The speaker cable uses 400 strands of 7N purity monocrystalline copper and silver. The strands are grouped together and protected with the best dielectrics. Finally, the assembly is shielded with two layers of ultra-pure copper mesh to eliminate potential harmful interference affecting the audio signal. The final finish is again provided by Techflex, and the connectors are made by the Japanese company Furutech.
In addition, the speaker cables feature cherry wood splitters, made entirely by hand by the Malaga-based luthier Jorge López. This wood, in addition to its magnificent properties, absorbs mechanical vibrations and adds a touch of distinction and extra elegance to the assembly. The rest of the cables in the series use pieces with the same aesthetic but in a smaller size.
Finished with a matte stainless steel plate, we find the brand and model of the cable in question. Manufactured by a small family business in Malaga.
At Wires 4 Music, we try to promote, whenever possible, the local economy and zero-kilometer products.
The electrical cable is made from monocrystalline copper and silver of the highest purity. Each cable is made entirely by hand and consists of a total of 150 wires. Teflon and air are used as dielectrics. Each group of 50 wires is perfectly shielded from external interference by two copper meshes and an outer sheath from the American company Techflex.
The interconnect cable consists of 40 monocrystalline copper wires with silver distributed in two 20-wire conductors, each with a cross-section of 1 mm² in the case of the RCA version, and 3 conductors for a total of 60 balanced wires. PTFE and cotton are used as dielectrics. Protection against electromagnetic and radio frequency radiation is provided by a pure tin-plated copper mesh. The connectors used are Furutech's FP-110G model and the outer sheath is manufactured by Techflex.
The USB cable is manufactured in the same way using monocrystalline copper conductors with silver; PTFE and untreated organic cotton act as dielectrics. The outer sheath is from Techflex and the USB connectors are from the manufacturer Viborg.

Lorenzo Sánchez from Wires 4 Music
I don't usually personalize companies as much as I am going to do in this case. But this is an exceptional case, and that is why I am taking this liberty. Wires 4 Music was created by two friends and partners in Malaga, Spain. As I have not requested the necessary authorization, I will omit some of the information I have in order to maintain maximum discretion on the subject. From the beginning, they were dynamic people eager to take on the world. Lorenzo was the more public face of the two and the one who mainly answered the phone. Life was cruel, as it so often is, and Lorenzo had to suffer the loss of his friend and partner.

But he kept going, with determination and enthusiasm. He fought for his company and managed to position his product in the market. With a tireless presence on social media and at events. But all this is not what makes him great, but what I am going to tell you now.
Some time ago, I reviewed a product, see here, where I was very satisfied with the results obtained, to the point of keeping some of them. But I wasn't convinced by the finish of one cable, and I published my opinion in this very magazine. Well, instead of reacting like a small company and getting angry with me (which has happened to me on more than one occasion), they reacted like the big guys. They accepted the criticism and took note for future versions. It's the details that tell you about a person, not what the marketing people say.

Sound compared to the Evolution and Osiris Signature series
As I mentioned earlier, I have some cables from Wires 4 Music, specifically Evolution and Horus Hybrid. I'm going to focus on the Evolution. During the first 150 hours of running in the Engström Arne MKII amplifier, I mainly used the Evolution series, except for the interconnect and USB cable, which were already Osiris Signature.
As those who have read the previous review will know, the first few hours were not very significant, but after so many hours of listening, the results were more than evident. The clarity of the soundstage in all its nuances was present in the different works I listened to. Practically speaking, I could say that I was listening only to the amplifier, perfectly differentiated from the rest of the components, because I already had the other elements of the equipment well defined and classified. I can honestly say that it is absolutely necessary to have a complete and in-depth knowledge to be able to understand what each one contributes to the final result. And in this case, I was playing at home, as all of them were easily recognizable, except for the amplifier. Therefore, I only had to pay attention to the differences.

What I'm about to say sounds almost ridiculous, but it's true. Due to a lack of time, I was unable to conduct a more detailed analysis of each cable because of an unexpected situation. Although I had the equipment in my living room for an indecent amount of time, I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. For almost a month straight, thunderstorms threatened my area day after day. With that danger, and the cost of the equipment in my room, it was disconnected longer than I would have liked. I think any good enthusiast will understand me.
Osiris Signature is on another level
Furutech connectors have stolen my heart. It's not that they "connect" to the devices, but rather that they are so extremely well positioned and reinforced that they seem to be soldered to them. Whether on speakers, amplifiers, or DACs, their connection is so secure and robust that they do not transmit any kind of sway to the cable, no matter how heavy it may be. And if you slide your hand along the cable or grab it tightly, the Techflex sheath gives it an extra touch of elegance and high-end product quality, which is no small thing. Beyond its insulating properties, which I am not the right person to evaluate, it is pleasant to the touch. It instills confidence in the owner, rather than insecurity and a feeling of fragility—quite the opposite.
The distinctive finish of this series is undoubtedly the handcrafted cherry wood piece and its identification plate. As a reviewer and not a satisfied owner, I have had to keep the built-in shock protection in place to prevent possible damage. I only removed them for the photos and video.

When the time was right, I replaced the Evolution series with Osiris Signature speaker cables and power cable for the Engström. The change in sound was immediate. The overall tone remained the same, no detail was lost, but the room was filled with much more sonic presence, by far, by a long shot. Honestly, I was surprised too. I had to take my time and analyze what had happened. It was more than evident that the easiest part of my system to improve, which is bass extension and filling the room with musical presence, had been perfectly achieved. And where I had experienced the least improvement coincided perfectly with the limitations of my speakers. Therefore, with more and better quality speakers, I would have experienced even better sensations. Knowing how to identify problems allows you to improve the system.
The Engström Arne MKII and Wires4Music Osiris Signature pair were out of their depth with the RadioTehnika. However, knowing that I have reached the maximum potential of my speakers is a small pleasure that I treasure. It is a moment of satisfaction and pleasure, not frustration. I don't know if you would share this same feeling. Are you absolutely certain that you have reached the limit of a component in your system? I am.
Final conclusions
If we consider that wireless systems are light years away from the performance of wired systems, having good cables to interconnect the vital points of the music system is not an eccentricity, but a necessity of the first order. Purchasing the right cables for each system should be advised by a competent and knowledgeable store or by highly qualified personnel.

This series is designed and intended for high-end music systems with top-of-the-line components that want to get the most out of their electronics or speakers, without any limiting factors in their connections. It seeks to strike a balance between the highest sound quality and a visual presence that does not invade the space.
The quality of the components is well known to all. The quality of their assembly is a craft that can only be achieved with a lot of effort, dedication, and love for the product. The manufacturer does not provide any information about the method used to weave the cables inside. From my own experience, I can assure you that it is of vital importance, even on a par with the materials used. The silence is logical.
